Policies

Filling Your Order:

In most cases, your order will be shipped within 24 hours - usually the same day. This is not guaranteed, however. Things can happen that would delay an order, such as problems with a payment or shipping method, internal delays, problems at the shipping company, problems with the website server, or problems with our inventory system. Please give us your phone number when you place your order. That way, we can immediately resolve any problems that crop up. In any case, we will make every reasonable effort to get your order to you when you need it.
Note: Air shipments have automatic priority and will be shipped right away.

Payment:

We currently accept credit and debit cards automatically via the web store or manually via email or phone. Sorry, we cannot accept checks. For large customers that have a business account with us, checks are acceptable for payment on the account. We can also accept PayPal by sending you a PayPal invoice. Email us with a list of the items you need, your zip code, your preferred shipping method, and the email address you use at PayPal.

Shipping:

Our default shipping methods are UPS and Priority Mail. You may request a different shipping method by emailing us before or immediately after placing your order. UPS cannot ship to PO boxes. We have once-a-day UPS pickup. If your order is processed by us before the regular pickup time (2PM Pacific), it will ship the same day. If not, it should go out the following business day. You will be emailed a tracking number by the UPS web site when your package enters their system. WE DO NOT SHIP COD - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Address Corrections: UPS charges high fees for address corrections. Please be sure you enter your address correctly. If we are billed for an address correction fee by UPS for an address you entered incorrectly, we will charge your credit card for that fee. By placing an order with us, you agree to this stipulation. Likewise, if any shipment is returned to us as undeliverable, or is refused, you agree to pay for any return shipping costs.

Returns:

Normally stocked items are returnable with a 20 percent restock charge. You must pay the freight to return the item to us. In certain cases, the restock charge may be waived, such as if you place another order of approximately the same size or larger, at the same time as your return. This is very common when the wrong size items are ordered and you just need to get the right size - no restock charge in that case if the replacement order is the same approximate dollar amount or larger. Special-order, custom, or modified parts are not returnable. Any items returned must be in new, re-sellable condition. Returned parts cannot be scuffed up, especially gloss silicone hoses. Returns from orders more than five months old cannot be refunded for any reason.

IMPORTANT: Please be sure to include a copy of the original paperwork, the order number for any replacement order you made, and a note describing anything discussed on the phone (if applicable). If we receive a return without these items, the restock charge will be applied for sure.

Returns are expensive for any business. The average cost to process a return is around $8 - and that's just for the paperwork. Overstock issues, handling, etc. can increase that amount significantly. Our restock charge only partially covers the total cost of processing the return. We pay the rest - it is important to us that you have the right parts for your application. For best results, contact us before returning anything.

Freight Damage:

If you receive an item that has been damaged in transit DO NOT RETURN THE ITEM. Please call or email us immediately and we will have UPS issue a "Damage Call Tag". UPS will then pick the item up from your location and process a damage claim.
Returning freight-damaged items to us will delay or disqualify your refund.

Warranty

We are not a manufacturer, and so do not offer a warranty of any kind, except that if you receive a defective product, we will replace the product or refund the purchase price of the product ONLY. Since the type of products we sell are used to modify and customize vehicles, we cannot be held responsible if such modification or customization does not meet the specifications of the vehicle manufacturer. In addition, YOU are responsible for the proper inspection, cleaning and fit of any parts you get from us. It only takes a little dirt or a small leak to damage your engine. Make sure there are no leaks in your system, including leaks in any of the parts themselves, which would include any parts you get from us.

Fit is important - if it doesn't fit right, DON'T USE IT.

Any advice we give or comments we make should not be construed as approval of any certain application - you are still responsible for the proper use of any of our products.

IF YOU ARE IN ANY DOUBT AS TO THE PROPER COURSE OF ACTION, CONTACT THE VEHICLE MANUFACTURER, FOLLOW ALL RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE VEHICLE MANUFACTURER, AND USE ONLY PRODUCTS APPROVED BY THE VEHICLE MANUFACTURER.

Holidays

We are closed on the "Big Six" Holidays plus the day after Thanksgiving and the nearest Friday or Monday if the Holiday falls on a weekend:

New Years Day (or Friday the 31st if New Years Day falls on Saturday; Monday the 2nd if it falls on Sunday)
Memorial Day (always the fourth Monday in May)
July 4th (or Friday July 3rd if the 4th falls on Saturday; Monday July 5th if the 4th falls on Sunday)
Labor Day (always the first Monday in September)
Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving
Christmas Day (or Friday the 24th if Christmas falls on Saturday; Monday the 26th if Christmas falls on Sunday)
We also tend to quit a couple hours early on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.

Privacy Policy

Pretty much nothin', short of a court order, will compel us to give out your personal information. 'Nuff said.
